Damn, those tacos look tasty. That's something I haven't made in a while - you're making me think it's time to whip some up.
I do love me some tacos, far more than a burrito.

Anyone have any really good grapes this summer? Every batch I've bought has been disappointing. I've bought em from different stores and farmers' markets, but they all sucked. I haven't gotten em from Specialty Produce yet - that will be my next stop. At least the cherries from Costco have been damn good, along with the corn and peaches from various sources, though lots of the peaches have been recalled. Costco came through for me - the organic red grapes I bought today are really freaking good. I also bought the Kirkland beef and sausage lasagna that comes in a two pack in their freezer section. Once doctored up with some Parm Reg and crushed red pepper, it's surprisingly good.

Are they gargantuan portion sizes? That's the drawback with some of the frozen stuff from Costco.

I heard there's going to be a remake of Mr. Ed with Neil Patrick Harris doing the voice. Actually, I didn't hear that anywhere but I wish they would.

I was out and about today and stopped at Taco Bell for a Burrito Supreme. Haven't had one of those in a long time, and boy are they sure TINY now. AND the tortilla was smaller than before. And it wasn't one of the better Burrito Supreme's I've had since the outside crust of the tortilla was kinda hard. You can bet I won't go back there again for that item. Pretty disillusioned with the trend in modern society of making everything extra small so you will buy TWO. Which brings up my rant on toilet paper. Not only are the rolls shorter now but they wind the paper more loosely as well so you have to buy more to get what you used to get for less $$$. The only toilet paper rolls that are still the regular size that I know of are the ones you get at % Costco. My roommate buys those and I'm watching to see when Costco changes to the smaller cheaper rolls.....(I'm watching you Costco.)

They come in two 3lb packages, which works for me, as they reheat really well and you can obviously keep the second one frozen. One package turned out to be two dinners for the two of us, and one lunch for me. I'm a piggie.

That has been my all time favorite of there's all the way back to high school. Xtra sour cream a must. I ate those every day for probably a year or more and then again in my 20's it was an everyday lunch. I actually stopped enjoying them awhile back because as you say the tortillas have gotten a weird hard texture to them. I didn't notice a change in size but maybe that's recent? The one that made the best one ever was the TB that was on the corner Broadway and Sweetwater. It closed once they started the 125 connector and then was finally torn down.

When I become king of everything, sour cream will be illegal for use on anything other than a baked potato.
