GG has added the original theme, along with two other BRIGHT ones to the list of optional skins. You can find them under profile, edit profile, settings.
That way anybody who doesn't like the strip club look of things, and/or who hates America and wants the terrorists to win, can revert to the original look.

OK I had my profile set on the "UT" theme and when I was trying to answer Lucifer I only had the limited smileys. I switched over to default and have them all. Can you guys check and see if I have to add the entire smiley thing to each theme?
I ask because, well, I'm hoping I don't but the smilies are the FORCE!!!
(OK and the fact I'm a homeless goat that scored some braces)

I was using 'man cave' and noticed something not behaving correctly. Haven't had time to mess with it. The smilies seem to be in order though.

Oh. Wait, no. You're right. They aren't all loaded into the theme.
eta: There's a simple way to fix this, I believe. I'll mess with it when the inevitable 2am wakeup call arrives.

OK as it stands it looks like the only way to import them over is one by one so I'm doing man cave right now. I did learn though that a much easier way is when creating a new theme go off the default to transfer all that stuff over and THEN go actually adding the colors and other images. I guess I should have caught on when I knew for a fact the folders were all default, live and learn.

When you first added that plugin, I thought I read that if you hosted the gifs yourself, you could simply point the URL to a folder, rather than every individual smilie. I might be remembering it wrong. There were quite a few things I read about on the support site so it's kind of cloudy a few months later.

Not sure which plugin, it doesn't take too much time to copy them over. Man Cave and Old Default are complete. 8 BTW I'm doing these one by one when I have time so if someone is using one of the themes that still has the old smilies they will be updated soon.

I use the plain old plain theme, and I need a fix....
When I shout something and use a smiley, I can't see my smiley when I'm logged in. I can only see it in the shout area when I'm a guest.
And then at that, there is a colon before the smiley.
Please fix this major issue.
Thanks.

I agree. That's major. Which one was it, do you remember? Because they all seem to be good to go.
eta: Never mind. I see what you're talking about now. The way they're named isn't consistent throughout some of the themes, so they appear as text in one, and code (the emoticon) in the other. Too tired to fix it right now.

I think the problem is that I posted a shout when I wasn't logged in as moi, and it got screwed up. I was wondering why I couldn't edit that shout....
